Description
A contract role for a senior DevOps engineer to help set up and harden infrastructure across several active client projects. This is focused, well-scoped work — pipelines, monitoring, cost optimisation, and documentation. Three to six months with potential to extend.
Responsibilities
Audit and improve CI/CD pipelines across client projectsSet up monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflowsOptimise cloud infrastructure spend without reducing reliabilityDocument all infrastructure decisions and runbooksHand over cleanly to client engineering teams at the end of engagement
requirements
5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experienceStrong with at least one major cloud provider — AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience with Docker, Terraform, and GitHub ActionsAble to work autonomously with minimal oversightClear written communication — async-first team
Good To Have
Experience with Railway, Fly.io, or Cloudflare infrastructurePrior agency or consulting contextSecurity hardening and compliance experience
