Description
We need a backend engineer who thinks carefully about data, APIs, and reliability. You will design and build the systems that client products run on — and the internal infrastructure that our own products depend on. This is not a support role. You will own what you build.
Responsibilities
Design and build backend services, APIs, and data pipelinesOwn database schema design and query performanceSet up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructureIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks before clients notice themWrite technical documentation that new engineers can actually use
requirements
5+ years of backend engineering experienceDeep knowledge of Postgres — indexing, query planning, migrationsStrong experience with REST and GraphQL API designComfortable with cloud infrastructure — AWS, GCP, or Railway/Fly.ioExperience with TypeScript or Go in production
Good To Have
Experience with message queues — Redis, BullMQ, or similarMLOps or data engineering backgroundOpen source contributions
